At least those weapons are hard to come by for most.
Gasoline is still the #1 most “successful” mass murder weapon, it’s sold on every tenth street corner, costs about four bucks, and nobody thinks twice about anyone having it because most do.

You've been watching too much TV.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

When you pull that trigger that bullet has as much force as the recoil in your direction.

If it was like a linebacker full tilt, you would be on your ass every time you fired a round.

Because of Suzanna Gratia Hupp’s activism, the Texas violent crime rate is dropping as more CCL’s are issued...

Meanwhile back in Chicago... and NYC... and Washington D.C... and LA...

Fort Hood had another little incident about three years ago and that monster, Hasan, sets in a VERY high dollar cell with 24/7 medical attention about 2 miles from where I am writing; Our county is doing well but the American taxpayer is not.

BTW, Fort Hood does not allow concealed carry and the Hasan incident was within about five miles of the Luby incident.

I checked your link and found out:
Suzanna is a DC, as is my son, Suzanna has her practice in Killeen, Texas (Fort Hood’s home) as does my son... Suzanna was born on 1 January 1959, as was my son...

Not wishing Mr. Hupp any bad, but my son is currently single.

A tank of gas is about equal to a stick of dynamite. The entire premise of the controllers is false. Free societies will always be at risk. Your choice in life is always to either defend yourself or be a victim and this attitude isn’t limited to violent or non-violent crime.

No, you haven’t taken enough math, physics, or engineering and are in danger of hurting yourself during your “calculations”. Firearms are designed to minimize the perceived recoil to the operator while expelling a slug with the desired kinetic energy. A typical 38 spl round delivers about 300 ft-lbs of muzzle energy to the target while requiring around a ten pound resistance from the hand of the shooter. I’ve been a real linebacker ( not a TV one) , engineer, and shooter of all sorts of weapons and I’m betting you couldn’t take any one of those hits.

Do you see shooters falling down backwards every time they take a shot? Do yourself a favor and google up muzzle energy of firearms and get an inkling of the kind of power you’re talking about.

TacticalGear.com filled an order received on July 2 from Holmes, who allegedly opened fire inside an Aurora, Colo., theater on Friday, killing 12 people. Holmes paid $306.79 for an urban assault vest, two magazine pouches and a tactical knife.

Chief Executive Officer Chad Weinman said despite its name, the urban assault vest is not bulletproof, but is simply a vest made for carrying accessories. ...

A number of people have demonstrated a bullet proof vest by shooting themselves in the chest, point blank range, with a .44 mag. It didn't knock them down. Don't believe it, search YOUTUBE and see it for yourself.

If what you are saying was true, then you wouldn't have to shoot anyone more than once as it would knock them down with the first shot.

The energy from the bullet hitting a body without a vest is the same as the energy from a bullet hitting a body with a vest. It doesn't change.

As has been seen time and time again, people take multiple shots and keep coming.

Those two gunmen in California that were dressed head to toe in body armor a few years back, how many hits do you think they took without going down?

The energy from your average handgun bullet doesn't knock you down except on TV.

It should read, ‘gun control losing support in U.S. BECAUSE of mass shootings’

Exactly what I was going to post, so I'll just quote you.

It goes back to “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

If the bullet is going to fling the target across the room, the shooter is going to do the same.

Seems like if hollywierd is to be believed, I ought to be able to fling a rabbit all the way across a field with a shot.

This must be due to racism. If the perp had been non-white-white as opposed to Hispanic-white, then there would be more calls for gun control. (only partly tongue-in-cheek)

But really. Americans can see that the only way to stop one of these loons is to be prepared by having a weapon(s) to counter the loon.

Sorry you, a veteran, had to pay $35 to exercise a right.
I live in the Socialist State of New York. A buddy (veteran) just go his permit. It took a year to the date, a firearms course, a half dozen notarized character references and cost him over $400. As a combat veteran, I know what it’s like to shoot someone. I still think of the young VC guy who I was in the middle of changing ammo magazines when I shot him from about 15 or 20 feet. I can still see the “Oh Crap” expression on his face.
I do hunt, but long guns don’t require a license.

People just don't want to believe it.

I guess it's because it looks so cool on TV seeing someone fly through the air when shot.

Bullet going forward and that gun coming back, same amount of force in each direction.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Because the left hasn’t totally succeeded in redefining two and four! They are working hard at it though.
