No kidding. I wonder if Ben's going to have anything to say about the blatant injection of editorial comment into what was ostensibly a news story on
Romney's response to the "You didn't build that" Freudian Slip.
From the article, emphasis mine:
"Team Obama is
finally pushing back.
and
"Republicans have seized on the line "you didn't build that" to
falsely claim that Obama was speaking directly to business owners about their businesses."
ABC's report on Obama's trip to Aurora was another knee slapper - starting off with "The president traveled to Colorado today, to comfort the victims and family of the mass shooting as best he could".
Subjective qualifiers injected to provoke emotion have no place in news reporting, at least not traditionally.
