The Boy Scouts of America's stance of not allowing openly gay people to serve as troop leaders or members has inspired several Eagle Scouts to return their hard-earned medals and renounce their membership.

Now they can start their own organization for boys run by openly homosexual males. I am sure the openly homosexual organization will accept all the boys whose parents want them to join.
That is their choice.
The same as the Boy Scouts organization’s on membership.
And the Scouts are better off for it.
A few very sad failures dropping out of a wonderful organization. So be it. Better they leave if they harbor such distorted attitudes, lest they harm the new kids coming up through Scouting.
Pray that they learn some basic human values somewhere (it is such a shame they didn’t learn any at home, or in church, or even... in the scouts).

Mu district just told me Project Appleseed was not appropriate for boys. I have no ideas where the scouts are heading.

These Eagles have a right to freedom of association.
Of course, so do the Boy Scouts.

Take pictures of them returning their medals. When they decide to run for public office and claim these awards, pictures of them returning their medals will keep them honest......unless they are democrats which means they’ll just lie about it anyway.
Ironically enough as one of the major qualifications in boy-scouts is your duty to God theses men’s rejection of God’s commandments makes them unworthy of the medal.
I am therefore glad they returned the medals they obviously did not honestly earn.
