Most(not all) Blacks and “Latino” Soldiers in the US Army in the ETO were either Truck-Drivers. Steveadores, Cooks, REMFy Units or Mechanics. There were VERY few “Minority” Combat Units(there were a few Tank Outfits and Of Course “The Tuskegee Airman”). Most Front Line Commanders just didn’t wont to deal with them.

It’s funny how the left and Hollywood constantly tell us how evil whites were to blacks to the war, and how difficult it was (it was, I know...), and yet they also seem to have single-handedly (along with Japanese-Americans and Indians) won the war, and been involved with every major operation.

In September 1993, WNET released the results of the “Liberators” investigation, which conceded that black GIs did not participate in the liberation of Buchenwald or Dachau. However, the 761st Tank Battalion did assist in the liberation of Gunskirchen, a subcamp of Mauthausen. (Two months later, Giuliani narrowly defeated Dinkins, whose support among Jewish voters declined from 40 percent in 1989 to 35 percent in 1993.)
