>>>Pete Olson

This is interesting. What’s the details on his immigration transgressions? I haven’t followed his voting pattern, but he’s often appeared as an empty suit. Thanks.

Pete’s ties would appear to include extensive support by Phil Graham, the Texas political machine and deep money pockets. He is incredibly politically savvy and know what he has to do and how he has to vote on issues in order to be called a Conservative. He is Congressional Rep for my district and we all worked very hard to get him elected to the first term. He has pretty much skated through subsequent elections but did have a opponent this last round who may have some promise in the future. She will have to be able to do battle with the money coming from Clear Lake so it will always be tough.

Listened to Pete speak 3 separate times during this last primary. On all occasions he showed up at last minute, spoke 5 minutes, didn’t take questions and left. Only talking point was how hard they all were working to get rid of Obama. He endorsed Felicia who is running for Ron Paul’s seat over Randy Weber. Down here in our little town we get to know politicians REAL well. Felicia is a go along, get along and will not make waves, a perfect companion for Pete. Randy is 100% conservative to the core, gets things down and is not shy about standing up and voicing his opposition.

The last two years Pete has started the “I feel your pain and I want you to know that I share your concerns” responses to all letters and emails to him in Washington or in Sugar Land, regardless of the issue. It is almost identical to the responses we get from Cornyn. Certainly one of his biggest current fans is Dana Perino who is, IMO, a snarky RINO with inside access, contacts and a very public bullypulpit.

Pete will not answer direct questions about his position on immigration. “Yes” and “no” no longer are part of his vocabulary. He did state one time, however, that he considered it impractical to close the border and deport illegals. He has been in DC too long. I no longer contribute to him or vote for him.
