The comparison is not perfect. I am unaware of communist influence in the GOP. However, there are Muslim Brotherhood affiliated people with far too much influence in the GOP. 9/11 has changed nothing. American blood is cheap. Breaking social rank, class consciousness, and political correctness is expensive.

The House Committee on Un-American Activities, correct! and it is important.
I do not recall any recent conservative radio show emphasize that fact. They all just say HUAC or un-American activities (committee) which is exactly what the CP/USA wanted.
CP/USA invented the pejorative "McCarthyism" if I remember correctly.
