Is Huma Abedin to the Muslim Brotherhood what Alger Hiss was to the Soviet Union?
Why are Republican Senator John McCain, Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rodgers (R-MI) acting in the growing Abedin controversy as Washington Establishment Democrats of the 1940s did in the Hiss episode? Which is to say, writing off the dangers of a foreign enemy whose goal is to infiltrate the U.S. government -- because, well, the people in question are part of the Washington Establishment?
And last but certainly not least, why is the Republican Establishment pursuing a losing strategy in the war against Islamic radicalism? Is it returning to the losing strategy it pursued during the Cold War -- a strategy that was overturned over Establishment opposition by Ronald Reagan's victorious "we win, they lose" strategy?
These questions arise because of McCain's vehement attack on Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Bachmann, along with four other conservative House members (Louis Gohmert of Texas, Trent Franks of Arizona, Thomas Rooney of Florida and Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia), has written a series of hotly controversial letters.
What did Bachmann and the others do to infuriate McCain? And draw a rebuke from Boehner and Rodgers?
The five House members wrote letters to the Inspector Generals of the Departments of State, Justice, Defense, and Homeland Security -- along with a fifth to the IG in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Asking?
Asking that the recipients take seriously the possibility that the Muslim Brotherhood is becoming a security threat within the government of the United States itself.

What if this Republican was FRIENDS for the last 20 YEARS, with somebody like Timothy McVeigh? A Domestic Terrorist, who's goal it was, to bring this Country to its knees, and had already Killed Cops, Blown up Recruiting Stations, and Bombed the Pentagon?
What if a Sitting Republican President was Charged with RAPE, on National Television, on the Left's favourite Show - 60 Minutes? Would that be a problem?
What if he was charged with GROPING another Woman, inside the Oval Office, as she sought out his help, while her Husband Lay Dying, on that same Favourite Show, a few weeks before?
Or, if he LIED to a Federal Grand Jury at his INDECENT EXPOSURE Trial?
What if he REFUSED to release controversial Documents that he had Sealed in a Vault, and has spent MILLIONS, to keep them locked away?
What if a Secretary of State, had an Assistant who's Family was UP TO THEIR ASS in a Terrorist Organization?
One wonders how long this Muslim Matahari was Pumping Wiener for information.
What if we had a Press, and a Media, that did its job?
What if there were Woodwards and Bernsteins, all over the place, all of the time, and not just when a Republican was in charge.
I look FOREWARD to the next attack.

On a lighter note, just saw Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest” on the big screen. The parallels to the Hiss situation/case are certain to me. And Hitchcock has a little fun with it, being ten years after the resoulution of the case.
I’ve come to the conclusion the Republican leaders are worthless and ‘will not change’.
All the promises to vote them out won’t mean a damn thing to them.
If push comes to shove, the GOP won’t worry about their jobs.
They will just physically join the left and there won’t be any ‘GOP’ at all.
I love that movie, and I’ve seen it maybe thirty times. I always recognized that it was anti-communist, but in what way does it relate to the Hiss case?

The film is about a guy, a prominint American, stealing State secrets and selling them to a State enemy (unnamed), in the form of microfilm. Thornhill (Grant) asks Saint’s character if she has th pumpkin, something like that.
There is a prominint headline in the paper Thornhill is reading in another scene which says Nixon blah blah stay in Berlin.
Grant’s character is a happy dopey wealthy American businessman who gets roped into this action very reluctantly but is converted into an active patriot.
Well, I should submit this an d get paid for it but who would read it?
No wonder Wiener was attempting via the internet to make a sexual hookup. Muslims are stoned to death if they have relations with a Jew. Of course Wiener was as much a Jew as I am an Episcopalian.

Another question: why don’t Jeffrey Lord (the author) or the editors at American Spectator take a minute to ensure that they didn’t misspell Congressman Mike Rogers’s name? Articles that look professionally written and edited tend to be taken more seriously than those with glaring mistakes.

Bill Fulbright, who I think was working for the other side when he loaded the career-trajectory catapult for our boy Slick, and paved the way for his trip to Moscow that eventually put him in intimate contact with Chinese PLA intelligence operatives like Little Rock restaurateur Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie (all the way from China to Little Rock he came, to answer the Razorback fans' outcry for good moo shoo!), John Huang, Ted Soieung, Wang Jun, and Johnny Chung.

I was wondering (it sounds about like a 50/50 or maybe 40/60 chance to me) whether someone in the Carter Adminisration put Sally Ride in the program so they could spring a "SURPRIZZZE" on the People later on .... but then along came President Reagan, and the leftwingo presidential air cover was gone for a gay "psyop"/"information operation" (propaganda coup) outing Ride in, say, a sympathetic TIME magazine.
I can see it now ..... "...and in other news, the most excellent, and excellently continuing to build and expand on her many excellences DOCTOR Sally Ride just happens to be in a 'committed relationship' with another woman ....deal with it!"
I've often wondered, since reading that Hillary was probably sexualized by selfish Wellesley LUGS and lezzies to the point she doesn't like boys all that much, Whoma she be A-beddin .....
The congressman's sexual insecurity would be understandable, if his beloved at some point turned to him and said, "My girlfriend has more money, knows more people, and can whip your ass!"
