Keeping a lid on the explosive nature of flash mob violence in our largest cities is very difficult - especially since the fuse has already been lit. AT's political correspondent Rich Baehr points us to this interview at Frontpagemag.com with Colin Flaherty, author of the new book White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence and How the Media Ignore It.

FP: Colin Flaherty, welcome to Frontpage Interview. Let's begin with what inspired you to write this book.
Flaherty: Thanks Jamie.
My brother and I were doing a talk radio show in WDEL Wilmington, Delaware when I read a story about something called a flash mob on the streets of Philadelphia. This was two years ago. Then it happened again and again. Finally I looked at it on YouTube, and the violence and mayhem I saw on video was totally different than the antiseptic account I read in the newspapers in Philadelphia. Everyone involved was black. So I asked a few reporters: "What's up with this race riot in Philadelphia?" They said it was not a race riot and I was imagining things. "Did you see the videos?" I asked. "Well, everyone is black but race has nothing to do with it."
The riots kept happening, in Philadelphia and elsewhere. I kept asking people what was going on. They kept denying anything was going on.

Yes, I have observed that kind of behavior myself, but…
… if you honestly think that over the past fifty years the “developments” in race relations have been “positive”…. you’d better reconsider those beliefs.
Up until the “Civil Rights Era” began, blacks were actually on a pathway towards the cultural mainstream (and by “cultural”, I mean the “white” culture unequivocally and unapologetcially).
It was -after- the passage of such laws as the Civil Rights Act and the misguided Great Society programs to “help” them, that black culture and mores began to “diverge”, to veer off away from the mainstream because black aspiration towards same would be derided as “acting white”.
It’s no mistake that the word “integration”, which was pressured on whites in the sixties and seventies, is now relegated to the scrapheap of racial history. In its place is the new term, “diversity” (of course constructed upon the building blocks of “multiculturalism”).
Consider for a moment the stark contradictions between “integration” and “diversity”. To “integrate”, by my dictionary definition, is to “combine (one thing) with another so that they become a whole”. “Diversity”, on the other hand, contains no implication of making two into a whole, but instead seems to celebrate “separateness”.
For the past 50 years, American blacks, by culture, beliefs, and behavior have not been moving closer to the white mainstream, but have been deliberately moving AWAY from it.
Nothing good can come from this.
And we are seeing the results now, as recorded by security cameras, and displayed in YouTube videos...

I’m tempted to try and get one myself just to see what texts and phone messages come down from headquarters.
Just for grins, I looked at the site, “obamaphone.net”.
A poorly-edited group of pages, the shameless Obamabots there claim that Obama didn’t start it, it was in place since GWB (who they type out as “George William Bush”), Clinton, and all the way back to the Wilson years.
Sifting thru the BS to find any data, I did find that the phones, which include 250 minutes of free talk time, are given to low-income eaters free of charge.
The money to pay for it, so they claim, comes NOT from taxes, but rather by fees applied to existing telecomm companies by the FCC. That, in plainer language, is redistribution of wealth.
I’ve noticed some blacks in my area are not as friendly as previously. They are indifferent or must force themselves to return a greeting. It is a kind of hatred you can feel and nothing good can come of it.
Also one of my kids had a couple of black friends who seem to have gone ghetto and not wanting to be around a white boy.
Just wait until Obama loses in 2012. Cities will burn. Have you oiled your guns lately?
There is a way out, but it's drastic: move to a white area, have only white friends, have nothing to do with other black people unless they have aspirations of becoming middle-class.
The pathology of the black culture is that anybody who excels by herself, has no incentive to agitate for "black rights", and is therefore a traitor to the tribe. Also, anybody who excels makes liars out of those who say "the Man is keeping us down", and exposes the nihilists as losers.

Fee....Tax....Penalty.....the distinctions matter ONLY to lawyers and judges. They all have the same effect on our thinning wallets.

My first trip ever to DC was in 1990, and my experience was the direct opposite. I had nothing but pleasant exchanges with cab drivers and servicce people everywhere. The majority of people in the District were overwhelmingly black. Even in the capitol itself. Even in abandoned areas a few blocks from the mall, I did not feel threatened in any way.
The only hint, a few years later was the admonition that certain areas where there were very expensive restaurants, were "inadviseable" after certain hours of the evening. Apparently it has gotten worse.

Many "white" cultures such as that of the ancient Celts or Thracians or pre-Christian Germanics and Slavics have not played a role in this.
