I'm disappointed in Dan Patrick supporting Dewhurst. Dan Patrick is my state senator, and a true conservative. However, on his FB page he has been pushing negative Cruz items while saying he is staying out of the fray and just "informing the public." The voters have vehemently disagreed with that assessment.
I think Patrick just wants Dewhurst out of Austin, to make life easier on the state level to get things accomplished for conservatives, but he has not been honest about his subtle endorsements of Dewhurst.
I voted for Cruz today.

We need someone who can stand tall in the U.S. Senate, holding their own in a small body and sway it to conservative thinking.
Dan Patrick talks the talk but.....

More likely, Patrick thinks that Cruz will beat Dewhurst in the runoff and wants to avoid getting blamed by Dewhurst, who could then use his power as Senate president to take it out on Patrick. That’s why pretty much every single Republican Senator has endorsed Dewhurst publicly.

Dan Patrick sold out to Dewhurst and is showing that he has compromised his values to support a RINO like DD.
I fear that Patrick may just be trying to steering attention ti his failing radio station.
