RUSH: Now, Trump was on Greta Van Susteren last night on the Fox News Channel. First question: "Donald, the president has said that you didn't build it, and he said that the Romney campaign has taken his statements out of context. I'm curious, though. Your thoughts on what the president meant or how you took what he meant when he talked about people not building it. I realize there's more to the quote than that, but what's your thought on it?"
TRUMP: It's a very, very tough statement. People are very upset by it. It really has energized a lot of people in this country, because maybe the truth is coming out finally about President Obama and his attitudes. It is a very, very hard thing for people that work 20 hours a day, whether it's building a business or just working on jobs where they build great things. It's very hard for those people to take when they hear a statement like that. It's a very, very difficult statement for them to take.
RUSH: And she said, "What's the scare factor? Are we getting the scare factor from some people? These are very serious times and it makes a big difference whether the tax rates are extended or not?"
TRUMP: This is one of the most important elections this country has ever had. You started off this interview talking about building businesses and you know what the statements were and everything else. The fact is, that is a mind-set right now that we didn't do it; that people that work hard didn't do it. It had virtually nothing to do with them. Well, that is not what it's all about, and that's not what this country is all about. So I think that people are very nervous. And I think they're actual, in many cases, scared. Businesspeople -- hardened, veteran businesspeople -- are scared to see what would happen if Obama gets a second term.
RUSH: There's no question about it. There is genuine, real fear. And even before the Roanoke speech, Obama was down to 35% approval among business owners.

Was informed today that Rush filters out CONSERVATIVES
who question Mr. ROmneyCARE’s past behavior.
No more Rush.
No more RINOs.
I’m betting that’s not true.
the problem is testing it. He has so few callers that getting on his show is nearly as difficult and winning mega-millions.

Do you have a source? I am skeptical.
I remember posters here who were adamant that Trump wanted nothing more in the world than for Obama to be re-elected.
Trump is one of the few with guts enough to really expose the Marxist/Muslim pos.

“Trump is one of the few with guts enough to really expose the Marxist/Muslim pos.”
Agreed. That’s why I was puzzled at those who attributed to him some kind of super-secret quadruple double-cross agenda that would assure O’Communist’s re-election. Don’t hear much from them these days.
For some time I’ve believed conservatives have made a huge mistake in allowing the word “rich” to become a pejorative. While seemingly innocuous, the use of the word has been very damaging to our cause when the subject of taxes comes up. Never do our talking heads bring up the fact that the “rich” have a function in our economy. The most important function, in my view.
The reason the un-challenged use of the word is so harmful to the discussion is that it makes it easy for Marxists to win the argument. It frustrates me to no end that no one, even our side, points out that the “rich” happen to be the employers and entrepreneurs in the very delicate balance required for our economy to function properly. The “rich” are those who have excess capital to put at risk, and, unless they wrap paper money in tin foil and put it in the freezer, they benefit the economy with what they do with this excess, whether through savings or investment.
In a sane world, people would realize that the “rich” are the last people you would want to punish with tax policy, if indeed it is your goal to help the poor.
Perhaps the reason Obama’s Roanoke speech has struck such a nerve is that he inadvertently isolated just WHO the “rich” happen to be. Of course they are owners of businesses-employers, investors, entrepreneurs-the people who sign all the checks in the private sector, the veritable engine of economic growth. Maybe the Roanoke speech started people onto the thought process that is required to realize the damage that Obama’s policies can do to our economy.Perhaps people are beginning to realize that this is precisely what is wrong with Obama’s policies, and that we make them the declared enemy of tax and regulatory policy at our peril.
If King Obama gets another term it will be the beginning of CWII.
I noticed that Congressman Paul Ryan doesn’t use the word “rich.” He refers to successful people as “job creators.” And he is right, of course.
They’re still here
Wake TF up and talk to Sheriff Joe and then talk to your audience about it.
If Donald Trump can question on the issue, why can't you?
I told all of my employees that if Obama is re-elected their jobs are gone. I’m selling my entire product line to a Canadian distributor and they can call him for a job. Wife and I are done.
It’s funny now to listen to them down on the floor while packaging, picking & shipping orders that they have to make sure and vote and for sure don’t vote for any Democrat.
Who in the hell are the 35% of business people who can say they favor this guy? Who? All of government is already a nightmare. It has to accountants and lawyers.
This is Obama's "strategic ally," and holder of our banknotes, China, today.
“Theyre still here.”
Scary but true, I’m sure. “Trump supports Romney knowing he’ll lose to Obama, so that’s his back door way of supporting Obama” - lol. I’ve never thought Trump’s a conservative, but regularly shouting “Obama sucks” on national TV is a curious way of ensuring Obama beats Romney and completes the conspiracy.
