Movie theaters across America have recently showed a film depicting former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, a woman whose visionary leadership and fortitude — particularly in the fight against Soviet communism — earned her the sobriquet “the Iron Lady.”
Lady Thatcher’s partner in dispatching that toxic ideology to the “ash heap of history,” Ronald Reagan, famously declared in 1961 — at a time when the USSR was still very much a going concern — that “freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Today, it is threatened by another totalitarian ideology that some have aptly described as “communism with a god”: the supremacist Islamic doctrine known as Shariah.
Fortunately, it turns out that as we confront our time’s most imminent threat to freedom, we have found America’s Iron Lady: Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. Her Thatcheresque qualities are evident in the fearless and visionary leadership she is providing in opposing Shariah’s most formidable champions, the Muslim Brotherhood.

I want to send a little love to Michele Bachmann amidst this fury of ignorant attacks from both sides of the congressional isle. Unlike many of our representatives, she does not hide behind political correctness when it comes to exposing those subversive elements – ie, the Muslim Brotherhood – who threaten our sovereignty, our very way of life, on a daily basis. It is sad that a number of elected politicians, who swore to uphold the Constitution and defend America from rogue elements infiltrating our republic, have resorted to stereotyping her as a racist, right wing, conspiracy nut. I expect that type of mindless, juvenile buffoonery from the left, but from our own party? Oh, that’s right, and in 2008 Obama wasn’t a foreign born, anti-American Marxist who had zero executive experience and routinely associated with such radicals as Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. Our dignified, watchdog media and Congress sure nailed, or should I say ignored, that one. That’s what I think of political correctness! Islam will never rest until America is no more. At least I know Michele would never support a mosque being built on the ashes of our greatest tragedy. A patriot never sleeps!
For an “Iron Lady” she sure has a tin ear.
There are a very few fearless ‘old fashioned patriots’ left - Michelle Bachmann is one. Here we have Islamists attacking her and the “men” in the GOP shrink back & hide behind the mommy’s skirt of political correctness. They should all be kicked out of office at a minimum & the country should rally around Michelle who sees “the enemy within” and is trying to do something about it.

Only one other that I can think of had the guts to confront the muzzies, Sue Myrick. I think she’s retired now, but that was one brave little lady.

I do applaud Bachmann for her efforts, but comparing her to Lady Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, and calling her the “Iron Lady” is over the top, frankly, it’s laughable.
Doing what she seems to be doing on this issue is not heroic, it’s her job. It is a shame that the other asshats refuse to do their job.
I am pleased to see an article about Bachmann that doesn’t tell us, yet again, that she is a “Federal tax attorney”.

The real threat to the American way of life is not Islam but Feminism, of which this “Iron Lady” is a strong proponent of.

She is a fundraising consultant sock puppet whose presidential campaign and current behavior - calling out a woman as a traitor with no evidence other than who she is related to, despite an adult lifetime of service - follows a time-tested formula designed to get idiots to hand over dollars.
Step 1: Make puppet Bachmann something outrageous that sounds good to uneducated, mouth breathing rubes.
Step 2: Play the female victim card when that statement engenders criticism.
Step 3: Use steps one and two in fundraising appeals.
Step 4: Buy a condo in the Dutch Antilles (great diving out there, btw).

This is one brave little lady to have told the truth about Islam.
