REVEALED: Corzine's MF Global Was Client of Eric Holder's Law Firm
Breitbart ^ | July 26, 2012 | Wynton Hall

Posted on 07/26/2012 3:20:21 PM PDT by arasina

Those wondering why the Department of Justice has refused to go after Jon Corzine for the vaporization of $1.6 billion in MF Global client funds need look no further than the documents uncovered by the Government Accountability Institute that reveal that the now-defunct MF Global was a client of Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s former law firm, Covington & Burling. There’s more.

Records also reveal that MF Global’s trustee for the Chapter 11 bankruptcy retained as its general bankruptcy counsel Morrison & Foerester--the very law firm from which Associate Attorney General Tony West came to DOJ.

And more.

Sadly, the fact is that the sheeple just won’t care, because the Mainstream Media will refuse to tell them.

Is there an end at all to the corruption among these mobsters?

Sure there is. When we decide to take these bastards to the streets with tar, feathers and rope!

THAT'S WHEN IT WILL END

Thanks. I was trying to think of sub-prime derivatives when I had the brain freeze. Your post caused it to thaw. ;-)

I guess the only thing derivatives have in common with "bundling" of political donations is that they both are pooled "money" so transactions could feasibly be hidden in either one.

Dr. Jedidiah Morse* describes just such a time in our own history in the following excerpt from an Election Sermon delivered in Charlestown, April 25, 1799, from the Bible text, If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3).

Our dangers are of two kinds, those which affect our religion, and those which affect our government. They are, however, so closely allied that they cannot, with propriety, be separated. The foundations which support the interests of Christianity, are also necessary to support a free and equal government like our own. In all those countries where there is little or no religion, or a very gross and corrupt one, as in Mahometan and Pagan countries, there you will find, with scarcely a single exception, arbitrary and tyrannical governments, gross ignorance and wickedness, and deplorable wretchedness among the people.
To the kindly influence of Christianity we owe that degree of civil freedom, and political and social happiness which mankind now enjoy.

In proportion as the genuine effects of Christianity are diminished in any nation, either through unbelief, or the corruption of its doctrines, or the neglect of its institutions; in the same proportion will the people of that nation recede from the blessings of genuine freedom, and approximate the miseries of complete despotism. I hold this to be a truth confirmed by experience. If so, it follows, that all efforts made to destroy the foundations of our holy religion, ultimately tend to the subversion also of our political freedom and happiness. Whenever the pillars of Christianity shall be overthrown, our present republican forms of government, and all the blessings which flow from them, must fall with them..

The traitor is Obama and his administration.

That’s what we’re encouraged to think. The corruption involves both parties in nearly equal measure. The elites in both parties both use government to take from America.

I predict a whole fleet of Stanley Steemer trucks in front of the white house in January of ‘13. At least. Hazmat suits, gas masks, etc. Those guys are so dirty the mind boggles.

The GOP elites and Romney are cut from the same cloth. There will be no cleanup. They will make a few speeches and maybe a few token gestures but they will be working behind the scenes to continue looting America.

... the intended purpose of Operation Fast and Furious was to rack up a bloody body count in Mexico,

They had to know this was going to 'bleed' over the border and Americans would be killed as well. Murder is murder ... Mexicans and/or Americans and the sheer audacity & evil of F&F is mind-blowing, as is the media covering for the perpe'traitors'...

Link is a good read.

I see.

So it can't happen here?

Where have I heard that before?

Unfortunately, it is happening here. This story demonstrates it.

I believe Hitler carried quite a slice of the Jewish vote in 1933. Course they were smart enough to stop voting for him when they saw where Germany was going.

Those Jews back then were a lot smarter than most Americans are today....

Let's just suppose for minute that I agreed with your comment “That’s what we’re encouraged to think. The corruption involves both parties in nearly equal measure. The elites in both parties both use government to take from America.”

IMHO, your comment seeks to assign equality to diametrically opposed philosophies. If we're encouraged to think anything, it is that Obama and his administration aren't really in the process of de-sovereignizing our nation and making all of us subservient to the rest of the world. Give me capitalist takers over Marxist takers every time.

I did not say it can't happen here. I am painfully aware of the history leading up to the Holocaust.

What I'm saying is that I think we should be fighting against it rather than staring into the abyss and waiting for the push. I am a Christian believer and know "whence my strength does come". It certainly won't come from an atheist author (Alisa Rosenbaum, a/k/a Ayn Rand) whose philosophy essentially is secular humanism disguised as "reason".

1. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?

2. My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2

I pinged you, mazda77 because of your tagline: ("Defeating the Totalitarian Lie" By: Hilmar von Campe". Everybody should read it.) You're someone who recognizes what needs to be done and I'm right there with you.

Give me capitalist takers over Marxist takers every time.

Why take either one. What evidence do you have that the GOP elite follow any pro American philosophy?

“Why take either one. What evidence do you have that the GOP elite follow any pro American philosophy?”

Why? Because there are only 2 choices in the upcoming election: Obama-a marxist dictator who has surrounded himself with criminal deviants hell bent on destroying America in the name of Islam and racism. Or Romney and his TBD staff.

Take your pick, a Marxist or a Capitalist.

Evidence you ask me? I think it is perfectly on display for all to see that FR allows liberal and anti-American members - see my tagline, no offense.

I will vote against this crap.
I will speak out against this crap.

But I don’t know how to fight this crap.

Politicians in Washington are giving this crap a stamp of approval.

The Courts are giving this crap a stamp of approval.

How do you fight that?

We have marched.
We have made our voices heard.

They don’t care - and why would they? They keep getting elected.
