So bizarre! Is it “controversial” to say the capital of Israel? Or did Carney not know?

I’ve heard they are not allowed to state Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Hillary won’t even state it. Does anyone know if the Bush administration followed this protocol or has it just started in this administration?

The members of that administration probably get confused unless you refer to the place as “Palestine.”
