I closed my business, a paint-wallcovering and remodeling business in the spring of 2008 after twenty five years of working for myself because the economy could no longer support us. It broke my heart. My wife, a full time reator saw sales dry up.

We both took jobs at half of what we were making and cut back on everything. While I do not like Romney at all I welcome someone who has signed the front of a pay check. He is far from the economic savior we deserve but he is light years a head of the Marxist in The White Hut.

I have thought about starting new business with out a standard employee structure by employing contractors and businesses and taking less margin just so I do not have face all the regs and filings.

What is a dreamer to do?

a head = ahead, one word, and with out=without, one word.

I’m not picking on you, William, honestly, I’m just wondering why I see so much of proper words broken into two words lately - here and everywhere (one word), constantly. I suspect news writers get paid by the word and thus have begun this dividing one word into two, wrecking proper English as they do in all ways. They change our pronunciation of words and spelling of names willy-nilly, so I think that’s it. (As in changing Mao Tse Tung to Mao Zedong when news writers became too lazy and stupid to look it up.)

I doubt I’m the only one noticing this - as rampant!! - so just wanted to throw this in - with a “let’s quit that!” for an aside on a serious thread - sorry, guys. I’ll go away now.
