Dream on. No way the GOP takes Congress without the White House. And certainly not by the required two thirds of both houses.
If Obama wins reelection, look for a Democrat House and Senate. That's how elections work. The sheeple control elections, and they are way too simple to make the sort of fine distinctions you toy with.
This has got to be a wave election, with the top of the ticket on top and lots of coat-tail hangers, swept into power by a wave of popular revulsion at Obamunism. Anybody with other ideas is out of touch with reality and strictly counterproductive!
You’re both making the false presumption that I intend to sit out this election.
I don’t. Down ticket I intend to vote conservative, or at least as conservative as possible.
There is a reason CO went for Obama in 08, and that reason is Republican Governor Owen. Owen was someone quite to the right of Romney, none-the-less, his liberal tendencies completely destroyed the conservative Republican movement in CO. We have have a few unorganized pockets. That left the state wide open for any Liberal to take. And take they did.
It wasn’t pretty under Owens, it will be downright unbearably ugly under Romney.
I’m waiting to see who Romney thinks would make a good VP. Based on past experience, all the conservatives will be able to say will be ‘we’ll have to push them to the right’. Well, the time to ‘push to the right’ is BEFORE the VP is chosen.
