#NBC Fail: Network's Olympic Disaster Earns Global Social Media Mockery
twictcy.com ^ | Sunday July 29,2012 | Twitcy.Com

NBC has united the world…in scorn, contempt, and mockery of its gaffe-plagued, stone-age Olympics coverage. Cutting the tribute to the 7/7 London Islamic terror victims from the network’s opening ceremonies coverage was just the tip of the iceberg.

Yesterday, the #NBCFail hashtag erupted worldwide and showed no signs of let-up. Ridiculous tape delays, news/programming spoilers, arrogant tweets from former NPR executive-turned-NBC chief digital officer Vivian Schiller, geographic errors, and streaming woes have earned the peacock network global social media mockery.

The muzzies were demanding they coverup their legs and not wear bikinis.

Apparently there were IOC guidelines sent out that strongly encouraged respect etc.

Many are wearing shorts vs. bikinis.

The American women are wearing bikinis, although they stated due to the weather, they may wear loose shirts, they will not abandon their bikinis on the lower half.

The taped delay of the 400 meter men’s swim final was ridiculous. I knew the results six hours before. It was all over the internet. Why didn’t they show it live? It was Saturday, and millions would have watched it live. A bunch of pinheads.

Not surprised the idiots at NBC failed to correct the old fool Morgan Freeman’s “ath-a-lete” mispronunciations in the NBC Olympic promos.

Also Bob Costas needs to cool it with the unfunny jokes. He has gotten in trouble before for making a joke which others thought was a serious news report.

Thanks, but I don’t think that will help in trying to figure out when NBC might actually air them.

I know I cut the cord to cabel a year ago thanks to the Obama economy and I rely on the net and Netflix to get my entertainment. So that being said I uploaded a VPN on my iPad and used the BBC iplayer. If you’re interested I could lay out the steps for you it’s real easy if you have a PC.
