I hate to say it, but what Axelrod is saying is what I’ve been thinking. With the economy in the toilet, gaffe after gaffe after gaffe, why the hell isn’t Obama down by 20 points? This is going to be a nail biter when it should be a landslide. I hope the Romney team is ready for dirty tricks and stuffed ballot boxes. We need someone who can get down in the mud.

The reason that it isn't a blow out is because of mitt romney absolutely refusing to admit that the Conservative base does not like him... and he and his team continue to attack us and demean us and denigrate us at every opportunity. Add to that the gop/e sending out scalia to bang on the Second Amendment a bit today and getting cocky over his court raping the Constitution and legislating from the bench... and then cheney comes out... without any provocation... and attacks Sarah Palin and by proxy the right wing base... well that is why this election is now and shall be up until the vote is counted... a razor thin election. Even Mark Levin admitted Friday that he now sees this election as razor thin... because Mark opens his eyes and ears and actually reasons what it is he is seeing and hearing.

I maintain it is a 20 point lead....or will be in the end. When people pay attention in the fall, when Romney hits hard and reminds those starting to pay attention with all the crap we're watching now, when polls are weighted properly instead of leaning D.

Of course, there's still some residual voters hanging on to the historical precedent of electing a black president. They'll give up the ghost before Nov. And there are those who wish not to be charged with racism if they don't support Obie. The racism charges linger heavily.

Many pollsters and all the media do what they can (distort polling) to cover for Obie. Only Rasmussen seems to have a half accurate poll 5 point lead, and I maintain for some of stated reasons that it's more than that.

Because I hang up every time I hear a pollster. I HATE POLLING and every conservative I know agrees with me. I have never missed a vote and will be there at 7 AM on that Tuesday in November. HOWEVER my vote is my own and it is PRIVATE! Sorry about that GOP and Libertarian candidates, I know you spend the money but IT IS MY PRIVATE VOTE.

When 50% of the public doesn’t pay any income taxes, and lives off the teat of Zer0, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of us taxpayers, you’ll never get a meaningful percentage of them to make a contribution to society by voting for a candidate that will take away their free bennies!
