NYC City Council Speaker Christine Quinn is urging New York University, which rents space to the city's only Chick-fil-A restaurant, to kick the franchise off its campus because of its support for anti-gay causes.
Says Quinn, in part, in a letter sent today to NYU President John Sexton:
NYC is a place where we celebrate diversity. We do not believe in denigrating others...As you know from recent press coverage, the President of Chick-fil-A continues to make statements and support causes that are clear messages of extreme intolerance and homophobia and a belief that LGBT Americans are less than others and deserve to be treated as such.
Let me be clear -- I do not want establishments in my city that hold such discriminatory views.
I urge you to sever your relationship with the Chick-fil-A establishment that exists on your campus. This establishment should be replaced with an establishment where the ownership does not denigrate a portion of our population.

The establishment does not have a view, it is an establishment.
The OWNER of the corporation has a view and a right to express it.
Of course, the gay mafia is in high dunning, again, over some preceived insult when nothing of the kind occurred.
IMO, this flare-up, like the attempts to get Rush off the radio will end no where. The people that do this are professional agitators.
The only good that will come out of it is that it will expose the scumbag politicians that would use their position to impose a rigid orthodoxy on us all.

Conservatives don’t call for the gay promoting JC Penney to be kicked out of malls and other places. Disagree by not giving them your business. Dan Cathy just expressed his opinion. The gay gestapo and cronies are control, tyrant freaks destined for the eternal chaff they choose.
They keep spouting this LIE, but there is not one, single molecule of evidence to back it up.
The man was stating his and his family's OPINION on the subject, and the progressives will bankrupt him for it.

I can’t help but notice that pretty much all of the clowns condemning Chick-Fil-A are straight, self-styled LGBT “allies.” All the gay people I know seem determined not to let religion and politics get between them and a good sandwich.
Guess that means gay people are a bunch of homophobes.

So Christine Quinn feels that Chick-fil-A doesn’t support her beliefs. That would be the same Christine Quinn who didn’t seem to have a problem admitting she sent 17.4 million dollars in taxpayer money to fictitious charities.. Christine Quinn who doesn’t have a problem using CFB tax dollars to help get her reelected. Yes that Christine Quinn is outraged that someone would hold views that differ from her own.

Do Leftists know how ridiculous they are? These champions of “free speech” deny it to anyone who disagrees with them. Their vicious anti-Chrisian hate speech is to be promoted by every institution in the nation, or they throw a hissy-fit.
