Perhaps through not enough focus on social conservative principles, and too much focus on fiscal conservatism. Man does not live by bread alone. It is the social concerns which make us human.

Many young folks do seem to have a very lazi faire viewpoint on life, where they wish to keep the government out of legislating morality but also out of pocketbooks.

Gays have inordinate influence beyond their actual numbers because they have more disposable than your average married person with kids. Having kids, as rewarding and gratifying as that experience is, depletes your available income. Raising children is an expensive life-time commitment. Gay people have the dollars because most of them don’t raise kids. Since they have the dollars, they can buy representation in Congress. It’s pretty simple if you look at it in economic terms.

I end this tomorrow. This is my notice to stores.

If you support the gay agenda, you are anti-family and anti—hristian. As such, we will no longer shop at your store. In addition, we will tell the companies you advertise with that their support of your franchise is support of an anti-christian agenda.

Boycott a few places based on this and all the crap will end tomorrow.

May only be four but two of them are in Kansas. KU doesn’t surprise me so much but Wichita State sure does.

For the most part, I am against boycotts. I am, however, in favor in individual choice. If you don’t like something about a company, you should choose not to do business there.
This is where the market place works best.

"Occupy Chick-fil-A!!!" --- - ha, I was thinking the same thing. Just waiting for them to turn it into another Occupy movement.

I suspect it's the same people promoting this Chick-fil-A boycott who were promoting OWS, which also has a militant "student" wing.

The Occutards were camped out at our state university for almost the entire school year. They appeared to be living in the student activities center over the winter, 24/7 with tents, sleeping bags, etc. When spring came, they were forced to camp outside, but still on the school premises. Certain professors were overheard saying what a great thing it was to have them there, while the janitors were overheard complaining about the mess.

When will these same “student groups” demand the banning of Catholic student groups, since Catholicism doesn’t recognize homosexual marriage? Then again, they’ve pretty much done this, even at Catholic universities. Or what about getting rid of the muslim student groups, since muslims stone homosexuals to death?

Selective outrage.

I agree. You don’t like something, don’t eat it, watch it, wear it, pray to it. Your choice.

Exactly my point. I cannot understand how the Gay Community can make this an issue. Haven't they heard about a Woman's Right to Choose? Same concept, except nobody gets murdered.

Shouldn't “choice” apply to both Men and Women in differing situations? Don't like Guns, you can choose not to own one. Don't like Broccoli, you can choose not to eat it. Don't like Communists, you can choose to Post on Free Republic.

I remember the Liberal outrage when it was discovered that Michelle Bachmann’s Husband ran a Clinic that Counseled Gay Men. You would have thought by the outrage that he was channeling Doctor Mengele.

Buying representation with dollars works IF it the money generates votes. Let's say a bunch of 'straights' decided NOT to vote for people who support gay rights. We have numbers - numbers money can't buy. If gays refuse to respect our right to traditional marriage, they might have a fight on their hands.

We know one thing - gays 'preach' tolerance - but when their idea of tolerance is only for themselves - and it is - it's called 'advantage'.

Maybe we've been played for fools...
