This is pretty blatant and an undeniable support of perversion to any libs who heretofore had been deluding themselves on where the Dems, as a Party, stand. I just can’t see how this could NOT cause a backlash. Maybe not a highly visible and massive one, but still a backlash of some kind. At the least, handled properly, it gives more ammunition in one on one debates with our friends and relatives who are not too far gone:

“The Dems officially support abortion on demand. Suppose we start with a physical description of abortion—what we are really talking about here?...”
“The Dems also officially support ‘gay marriage’. Suppose, again, we start with a physical description of gay sex—what we are really talking about here?...”
“So anyway, this is the party you support? Just askin’...”
Truth offends, and it especially offends those whose worldview is based on lies.
Describing the truth of abortion, or what homosexuality actually is, is very “offensive”. And when you offend with the truth, the left, like drug addicts or alcoholics, try to make YOU out to be the bad guy for telling the truth.
