Hanna has been very clear about his stands from his first run for office - he’s a right-leaning independent who runs as a Republican in a NY swing district. Disagree with him on issues but at least he’s open and honest about his beliefs, in contrast to those who talk conservative but push ‘moderation’ behind the scenes.
