And works includes “baptizing the dead”.
Which is probably the first question that will be put to Mitt after the Republican National Convention . . . “have you ever baptized the dead...”
That’ll get votes, LOL.
Well, we know he has. The question will be interesting none the less.
But, it’s OK that Catholics and many of the rest of us remember to pray for all the living and the dead. Perhaps Romney should do like Obama and register them to vote instead.
“And works includes baptizing the dead.”
You might find it strange, but I have never had a problem with the practice of “baptizing the dead”. If it doesn’t work, the dead sure aren’t going to care about it.
I have been thinking about earning a reverend certificate off the net and starting my very own church. At first I wanted to become a wealthy Black preacher... heck, I could get the tax advantages, yet I wouldn’t even need a building and overhead. After giving this idea thoughtful consideration, it occurred to me that I just couldn’t make it work... I am White.
Anyway, if I do get my reverend credentials, my church is going to baptize live people... they won’t need to be present either. I am just going to get the democrat voter lists and baptize every single one of them. Just imagine how happy they’ll be when they “hear the good news.”
Then, for only a single $50 cash donation (PayPal accepted) to my church, they can be unbaptized. Can you just imagine how many folks will be willing to pay $50, just so they can go back to living their life without the threat of being called a Christian... I’ll make millions.
There is much more money in democrats than dead people, it’s just tough to tell them apart.
