Well, he’s right, you did drop names - not by saying “Billy Bob Smith” but by referencing your contact with the higher up or inner circles of the Republicans in Texas.
I am so sorry that was the perception. Trust me. That is nothing to be impressed by. I am certainly not impressed. I think I gave the wrong impression and for that I do apologize. I do not “drop names.” If I did, it would reflect badly on me. And I regret having given that impression. How many times did I use the word impression? A bit redundant wasn’t I?
