Vote no on bond issues too -a tax by another name.

We have to vote no. I vote no on everything to do with raising or spending money. No bonds. No taxes. No fees. Doesn’t matter if its a sin tax or not I vote no. I figure if it is really worthwhile the politicians would allocate it in Sacto and not ask the people. Besides, the state has plenty of money to provide the services we need but chooses to spend it on salaries and pensions instead of services. The state is also incredibly wealthy. It owns I don’t know how many hundreds of billions of dollars in land and property. Plus the university endowments. They don’t need to raise taxes they need to make government more efficient. Provide the same services with fewer people or at lower cost. Businesses do that. So can the state. Sorry that that means less voters on the payroll but if the state squeezes any more we will get crushed.
