DEBKA ^ | August 1, 2012

On July 27, just before Friday prayers, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei summoned top Iranian military chiefs for what he called "their last war council." "We'll be at war within weeks," he told the gathering, DEBKAfile's exclusive Iranian and intelligence sources disclose.

Present were Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi, Khamenei's military adviser General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, Armed Forces Chief Major General Seyed Hassan Firuzabadi, Revolutionary Guards Corps commander General Mohammad Ali Jafari and Al Qods Brigades chief General Qassem Soleimani. Mr. K,
Reports are that Bibi will start a war with Iran for many reasons but will start it prior to the election to hurt obammy.
Other reports are that obammy may wag the dog with a war against either Iran or Syria.
Why would either help either??

I tend to agree with that. If all their predictions had come to pass in the past few years we already would have gone through Armageddon.

Because he has always been told that the sure way to save an election is to start a war. It is a matter of political religious belief.

Add to this the fact that he is utterly incapable of any thinking ahead or about contingencies; That there is never a thought of “and then what?” or “and what if?” in his head and this could be a very scary situation for the world.
nd attack until they are destroyed. And there are also

Thank goodness the source is Debka and their record for accuracy is pretty darn crappy.

I would say I chose to respond to the wrong post. For this I’m sorry. My real point to all is that it’s a useless thread in general because of the source of the report - and that is aimed at the original poster not you. Sorry bout that!

Debka also had Ryan Dempster going to the Royals for a bag of balls and a AA shortstop to be named later...

I dont think anyone has ever accused me of that before....

I think it is the frequent typos that make me look like an idiot

Fat fingers, poor eyesight, combined with a seeming inability to see errors until I hit the 'post' button all help...

Debka is not a news source, it is an intellegence source, and happens to have a much better track record than all of the MSM put together. Also tends to report on things that are news, not the personal lives of entertainers.

I like Debka, and while I lived in Israel I got to see their reporting first hand. Best in the world when the subject is the middle east.

I would suspect that the Iranian comment was to the likely hood of Iran being sucked into the Syrian morass.

Well - fine. I’ve not lived in Israel for more than 5 weeks total and that was back in 1987. However, from my watching their claims over the last 5-6 years they have a dismal track record of predicting major events.
