The leader of a group of black pastors opposed to gay marriage lashed out at President Barack Obama during a Tuesday appearance at the National Press Club. In his remarks, Rev. William Owens accused Obama of being “unprofessional” for ignoring him and insinuated that Obama had condoned child molestation by endorsing gay marriage.
“For the homosexual community and for the president to bow to the money as Judas did for Jesus Christ is a disgrace and we’re ashamed,” said Owens, the president and founder of the Coalition for African American Pastors.
“If you watch the men who have been caught having sex with little boys,” said Owens, “you will note that all of them will say that I was molested as a child. A man molested me in my home, wherever they will say they were molested. And for the president to condone this type thing knowing the full facts is just irresponsible.”
Owens added that the “president is in the White House because of the Civil Rights movement, and I was a leader in that. And I didn’t march one inch, one foot, one yard for a man to marry a man and a woman to marry a woman. So the president has forgotten the price that was paid … where they gave their blood to have equal rights in the United States.”
Owens said that Obama endorsed gay marriage “because of money” and bellowed: “there are more people that want marriage to be right than there are homosexuals, I assure you, in this country, and I think he’s going to learn that lesson.”

He’s brave for speaking out so strongly as he is. Good for him. And this shows how many more may be thinking inwardly about Obama’s support of same-sex marriage.

Something to be said for calling out Obama, and telling like it is.

I dont give a flying F if it is racist- he needs to bne defeated and the black voters are STILL 91% voting for him (down from 96% but there must be more than 5% of them that are not a stupid as a rock)

Here’s news for you... Obama could give a rat’s rear-end about the black community. Obama is a Marxist. He simply uses the black community as a fulcrum to get his Marxist/Progressive positions interwoven into the body politic.

I almost want to buy a bomper sticker that says “Obama for Gay Rights!” and then drive around through black neighborhoods posting it everywhere. If anything will cost Obama the black vote, this is it.

True. We don’t know if he’s even got a single drop of black blood in him. His purple lips make him look more Indonesian than black.
Good for Rev. Owens. It’s about time to recognize Jerry Sandusky as a face of the gay movement. Even if a person is not religious, it’s impossible to honestly deny the dangers of homosexuality. This does not lessen the evil of heterosexual pedophiles.
These black pastors have always been able to dive into politics because they were promoting Dem’s. I expect they will now see the wrath of government for stepping off the plantation.
That's true as far as it goes, but there will probably be a good many black folks who just don't vote at all. I've talked with a couple of people I know about this and they say the consensus at their church is to just not vote. They won't vote for King Barry now that he's endorsed queers marrying one another, but they can't bring themselves to vote against him either.
Sitting out the election over an issue rather than due to not caring is their first step towards behaving like Conservative Republicans and Independents. Dyed in the wool democrat scum will vote for the democrat fascist candidate even if they disagree with everything he says. That's how they've managed to have majority control of Congress for almost all of the past eighty years.

The SF gays were offering much bigger bucks than the blacks who are in the majority against gay marriage.
It's obvious that O was going to bow to the gays' wishes.
