RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The lunch-hour rush came in force Wednesday for Chick-fil-A's around central Virginia.

Lines of vehicles wrapped around several outlets in Chester, Hanover, Mechanicsville, and many other locations for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.

The movement started when Chick-fil-A took an anti-gay marriage stance two weeks ago and came under fire from gay rights activist groups.

Ft Walton Beach, Fl had people parking blocks away and walking to CFA. All parking lots in stripmalls were full (2).and you would think there was a parade. What a site to behold. America is not dead yet Mr. Obama and friends. Who would have Cristians would come under such an assault in the coutry that was founded on His beliefs.

Yes, its good that this CFA happened because the lines have been drawn now, and the support is massively, hugely visible today.

“The movement started when Chick-fil-A took an anti-gay marriage stance”

Even in the face of crushing defeat, the angry radical pimps at ABC make a twisted statement like that...

God bless America, Dan and Chick-fil-A!

Not surprising, though, as their stance is “either 100% on our side on all issues, or you are a hating bigot”-—even if you support civil unions, even if you have not discriminated against them. They are getting what they richly deserve today.

Here's my sign. We staged a rally this morning at the Northridge CA "Chick-fil-A." Notice on my sign. I point out that Free Speech is a right, and the Right to boycott and shop elsewhere is your economic freedom as well. Many news media outlets were there. They interviewed us. We emphasized Chicago move to perhaps pull licenses from Chick-fil-A restaurants -- was anti-free speech and anti-free enterprise. Our Rights include the right to 'annoying' opinions and to 'annoying' business owners, as long as these activities are peaceful. Shop there, don't shop there - it's your choice. It's called the 13th Amendment: you are FREE to start your own crummy business, express your views, lose money if people don't like it. Free enterprise. All in all it was a fruitful event, I think the media "got it" (the philosophy behind our rights to free speech, economic freedom & free enterprise).

My local, small-town GA CFA has been packed to the rafters since they opened this morning! 45 minute wait and one of the managers said that every employee on their payroll was working open to close today. The crowd was friendly and cheerful. Many comments were heard throughout the crowd about how bad Zero was going down if the turnout on Nov 6th was anywhere close to what CFA was getting today.

One of the local McD’s and the local KFC had their billboards posting “We agree with Dan Cathy” and “C-F-A Appreciation Day” on them. Amazing that even CFA’s competitors were supporting them.....

BTW - we need to start using the language of the left. Notice that this article specifically mentions an "anti-gay marriage stance."

Why aren't we calling gay marriage supporters "anti-traditional family?"

This subtle use of language by the left helps them *appear* to win arguments. (They don't actually win, as shown by the long lines at Chick-Fil-A, but their language gives them the appearance of the "high ground" in some circuits.)

Wow, good going! You made the media, and your message is an important one. They would have to get it, it is deeply American in every way. Kuddos. Thanks for posting, and Congrats!

Expect lines like this on election day.

Yes it is. This is actual a hugely political and historic moment today. And the rainbow crowd never saw the backlash coming. All amazing.
