RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The lunch-hour rush came in force Wednesday for Chick-fil-A's around central Virginia.

Lines of vehicles wrapped around several outlets in Chester, Hanover, Mechanicsville, and many other locations for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.

The movement started when Chick-fil-A took an anti-gay marriage stance two weeks ago and came under fire from gay rights activist groups.

All this support for one businessman's Traditional American Values!

And we don't have one elected representative willing to harness that support for fear of being called names on the national news.

Has anyone seen a statement by the RNC supporting this businessman and his Christian values?

The simple fact is the majority of Americans - perhaps a vast majority - view homosexuality as unnatural and a perversion.

THE LAW can treat gays however it chooses, bur SOCIETAL NORMS will still remain a large factor.

And the gays WILL NOT be happy until they use THE LAW to FORCE SOCIETY to accept them.

Not gonna happen.

Okay, I give up. How is supporting the traditional family anti-gay? The squirrels at NBC (Nobody But Communists) have lost their minds. Maybe someone needs to remind gays that NBC supports jihadists who hang homosexuals on cranes before cheering crowds at stadiums.

All this Chick Fil A positive attention (granted, not by the MSM), people supporting their business, etc., - and just in the past couple days the DNC announced or leaked that they will be putting gay marriage in as part of their platform. I wonder if they are having any second thoughts about that?

Why aren't we calling gay marriage supporters "anti-traditional family?"

You just gave me a new tag line!

Thanx!

They are having second thoughts: That much is certain. That they can do anything about it at this juncture is doubtful.

Hi acapesket, I was at the Burlington Mall in this bluest of blue states today, and this is what I saw:

I estimated 200-300 people. Made me feel like it isn't a lost cause here!

Not surprisingly, since the report comes from an NBC affiliate, it's completely misleading... OK, it's an outright lie...

The movement started when Chick-fil-A took an anti-gay marriage stance two weeks ago and came under fire from gay rights activist groups.

Chick-Fil-A NEVER took an "anti-gay marriage stance." Mr. Cathy was asked what his views were on marriage, and he responded, giving his PERSONAL view. While Chick-Fil-A is a company run using Christian values, to the best of my knowledge, no corporate policy has ever been announced.

Either way, what happened is that homosexual Stalinists decided that an example needed to be made, and what better way then to put a family run business that donates to the community and runs summer camps for disadvantaged children out of business.

I plan on showing up to my local CFA this Friday for lunch and maybe dinner too, to counter the threatened homosexual protests.

Yes, it is a deliberate lie. A scapegoat was needed. Good, as many from our side that can show up Friday the better.

When we visited last night for dinner (my 4th trip this week) they still had heavy business. Was glad they had food in stock again as the previous night’s food choices were very limited.
