Andrea Mitchell never found it “deeply offensive” when innocent Israelis were being blown up on the streets of Tel Aviv and elsewhere.

The palestinians brought their plight upon themselves. I’ve seen the west bank. It looks like a slum. Israel was a piece of worthless desert when the Jews went back there, and they made the land bloom. They figured out just how many drops of water it would take for plants to survive, so they could feed their families. And when the Israelies gave back some of the land they captured in ‘67, the palestinians destroyed the computers and the technology that kept the plants alive. And now we’re supposed to shed tears for them because they’re starving and are living in the poverty of the war-torn areas they created??

I remember that greenhouse episode. It was one of the things I could not fathom. It was like the merest whiff of the Jew had to be removed.

If they were worried about sabotage they could have replaced the computers. As I recall they leveled the place then went begging for food aid/money.

And we, insanely, responded affirmatively.
