Thanks for the post! It was a pretty amazing experience being there yesterday wasn’t it? My only regret is that we didn’t think to go up and down the lines and ask if anyone was a veteran so that we could move them to the front of the line. I am sure that noone in that nice crowd of people would have objected! We also should have started a couple of good USA chants. Well, next time we will be better prepared. This was the report I posted last night on another thread:
I just got back from the CFA in the Paramus Park Mall in New Jersey. It was a nice, ahem, leisurely 50 mile drive in rush hour traffic each way, but boy was it worth it! There where thousands of nice, polite, motivated people who waited on line for about an hour to make their point and buy some delicious chicken sandwiches. To everyones credit, I did not see anyone balk at the line, or get on line and then leave. I met some very nice conservative people who were there to support Mr. Cathys First Amendment Rights and to show the liberals and Obama that we have had enough of this crap! It really was encouraging to see so many like-minded people spontaneously mobilized for a common cause. As someone on line said: We came for chicken sandwiches and a Sweet Tea Party broke out!
Thanks for that terrific posting. :-)
