Encore segment.

Not really surprised. He just didn’t sound ‘in to it’ yesterday.

He’s 70 years old.

When I’m that old, how many days a week will I want to work?

Compared to the old Savage from KSFO days there is today very little current event issues except for the ones that relate to himself.

I remember Savage comments from time to time suggesting that radio consultants are advising to do less politics. Levin also has made remarks about advice to avoid so much talk of Obama and Romney

-- proof that the consulting agencies are being run by the DNC!

I hear he's off today.. maybe yesterday's talk of luxury cars sent him shopping for a Lambo or two? :)

I saw a cherry 1959 Cadillac four door today.

“cherry 1959 Cadillac”

That’s the type of car the Doc likes!

Except that he is in a profession where his absences affect many other entities -- advertisers, station management, syndication concerns, etc.

If he just wants to work part time, he might consider leaving radio and writing novels.

[I am actually surprised that his syndicators have kept him on the air this long. I would bet the radio stations listenership drops significantly when he is missing.]

RE: geezers

I hope that no one reading this is "offended".. I just thought someone may be interested. I am not selling the products.

I am passing this information along because of my positive experience with these plant nutrients and plant chemicals (phytonutrients and phytochemicals). I will not name the products and the company. I am very pleased with the products and company however. I don't think that this is the place.

I was shocked the hear a physician (radio interview) say that few doctors give enough credit to nutrition -- he himself ignored nutrition until about 20 years ago.

I am lucky to have no doctors.

I am a little less than two years older than Savage and during the past four months I have agumented my normal blueberry-rich and vegetable-rich diet, my standarized USP vitamins, and other highly rated supplements with a fruit drink that contains Viet Nam's gấc. (Ryhmes with duck, I think).

There is a detoxification product from the supplier of the gấc drink that I use also. Both are fairly expensive so I use half the reccomended amounts.

These additions have made remarkable differences after just the four months. All improvements have been in the area of age-related issues.

I can quantify the age-related ankle and feet swelling problem fix.. my shoes now slip on and off easily, before that I had to literally struggle to put on my shoes even with a shoehorn. I credit the detoxification product. The product's main ingredient is milk thistle -- BTW I first heard of milk thistle from Savage back in the 1990s*.

The gấc juice appears to have reduced some swelling in my prostate (gấc is super-rich in lycopene). Over years I had tried saw palmetto with zero results.

The gấc juice is mixed with additional South East Asian fruits one of which is Chinese lycium (we call it Wolfberry I believe); I believe that the Wolfberry is rich in lutein and zeaxanthins that help fix retina and macula problems.

Under certain conditions a large black spot interfered with my vision. It is no longer there. It may have been the onset of age-related macular problems. I emphasize that the black spot was there only under a very limited set of low-light conditions. It was not a problem otherwise.

All I can say is that it's worked for me.. in general I really feel that I am younger not just that I feel younger. Of course, now that I've put it in writing all the problems will return and then some . . . .

* milk thistle contains silymarin -- Savage joked that silly Marin County across the Golden Gate Bridge from S.F. is the home of rich and silly liberals.

Yesterday he had a segment about The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, saying how performers past their prime need to hang it up. Might he be insinuating that about himself too?

He may be flying back today to SF, where Chick-fil-A is banned. I went last night at 8PM, it was still packed. My order took about 30 minutes, no complaints.

Maybe a secondary feeder would work?

Let me know if that works.

I know it’s late, I may post this again tomorrow.

I’ve kept looking at that page where tickets were supposed to go on sale tomorrow for Savage’s 9/22 live event. However, the text there now says “No performances available.” I have no idea what’s going on.
