Oh, I’d love to have a discussion with Rahm Emanuel on Chicago’s civic values. Wouldn’t you? I’m not even talking about homosexuality at this point. I’m talking about a regional governmental complex that’s a moral and ethical Superfund site. (That said, imagine explaining to Richard Daley, the old boss, that the church-going, Bible-believing, Sunday-resting Georgia Baptist family are the bad guys and the fruitloops are the good guys now. I bet he’d never believe it.)
It’s clear what Chicago values are. The whole country knows it.
