Sounds like it’s time to put Brew City Shooter’s Supply out of business and ensure that the proprieter’s name and deeds are forever known amongst the firearm enthusiasts of Milwaukee.

That range is out of business as soon as that datum gets around to the customers.

This is utterly disgusting.

In related news, the Brew Shooter’s property is now on the market at a fire sale price, no pun intended...

Welcome to the new East Germany. Paranoia has become common sense.
It is going to get a lot uglier.

did customers sign a release stating this would be done?

Incredible breach of faith. Boycott and shut the a-holes down.

Milwaukee gun range voluntarily reports law-abiding customers to local policeSo I'm sure they'll soon be out of business and a new proprietor or their existing competitors will do a better job of serving the customers. See, the market takes care of stuff like this.

Stories like this really make me appreciate living in Pinal County, Arizona. The City of Casa Grande has a pretty nice shooting range that is part of their park system is open to the public. The city police and the Border patrol use a fenced off area on the north end. Nice covered shooting lanes. Nicely marked with a mountain for a backstop. Range is open from about 7:00AM until dusk. no check in, no range master, no big brother watching. Just adults allowed to be act like adults. In the few years I have lived here, there have been no problems and to my knowledge no “accidents”. I make use of it 2-4 days a week even in the summer.
Damn, it is good to live in a free (for the most part)state.

It really infuriates me how many companies we pay whose policy it is to yield any information requested by police on the mere basis of a request, no warrant required. Who the hell are they to waive OTHER PEOPLE’S RIGHTS for them? How do they not have a fiduciary duty to act as conservatively as the law allows in protecting the interests of THOSE WHO PAY THEM???

Ha, if my range was doing this... Well, it would no longer be my range. The police might also consider that someone who uses a range fairly often is probably a very good shot, well versed in handling his or her firearms.
