US Marshal’s Service cowed by “bear threat” ! ! !
Have a few of the armed local residents accompany them and no injury to the precious skin of the Judge will occur, and the US Marshals will likewise be protected by the armed locals.
No guarantee about whether a bear rug might be created, however.

From the perspective of the widow and her lawsuit, this ‘official opinion’ can only help her case.
I can only hope the D.A. files Reckless Endangerment charges against the “Armed & Rangerous” whose enviro-whacko views are the real cause of this horrific death of one of America’s best botanists.
