At least at CFA I probably wont have to worry about a food handler who is attracted to another mans anus. That alone is reason to patronize the place!
Well, Chick-fil-A will be absolutely doubly delighted to see all these liberal, worthless, unaccomplished, perverted, hate-to-work, potentially problematic job applicants self-exclude themselves from the labor pool. CFA can’t then be sued for not hiring them. Expect lots of other employers to learn from this episode.
As a teen, I worked at a gas station, pharmacy, garbage truck, ditch digger, dead animal patrol for the city, & various other jobs that were less than “fulfilling”.
I don't recall EVER considering the political beliefs of a potential employer.
Are today's kids that much more sophisticated than we were back then? I doubt it.
What we have here is a rich, liberal, politically correct author, who does background checks on potential employers for their spoiled children. She thinks everybody does this, or should.
As for their kids, they have caught on to this, working it to their lazy advantage. “Mommy, Mommy, the bad chicken man hates my queer friends. I CAN'T WORK THERE! Guess I'll just party all summer & after school.”

Most young people think gay people are pretty gay.
I bet most of the “young employees” ... because of their age ... saw the YouTube vid of one of their “own” getting blasted by a lib. That’s got to make an impression on a young mind. How many of them could have taken it as gracefully as did that young lady. You won’t hear anything about it, but that young lady is probably a role model in many of their “not-yet-shaped” minds. I’m betting many of them wished they could be like her ... no pro, not con, just lovely and a great representative of Chic-Fil-A ... I hope Mr. Cathy sends her a nice note of appreciation.
The last time I went, I saw as many older employees as young. I am 50 and these employees were older than me and not management.
Plenty of people will take jobs at Chick_Fil-A regardless.

It probably also does not occur to her that many teenagers start thinking they are “smarter and wiser” than their parents at about age 13. By age 16 most of that group are convinced they are.
Right up to the day they get their first paycheck, and demand to know WHY are there multiple lines of paycheck deductions under taxes! (Some are more prepared than others)
By age 18, they are all starting to seriously reconsider their previous beliefs in deciding exactly what is fair and just, since they dimly perceive they are going to be paying out of their own earned wages for “it” for the rest of their lives.

I’m 34 and was raised in church-going Hispanic Catholic family. In my teens I was very liberal: pro-socialist, pro-”gay”, pro-”choice”, etc. Attending NYU in Manhattan and witnessing how hateful & hypocritical most of the rich, liberal, out-of-state students were, and how racist the affirmative action structure of academia was, changed me from liberal to libertarian. Having a child and actually experiencing life turned me conservative.
My siblings are 33, 30, 27 and 25. We were all raised in the same house and attended the same public schools. My 4 sisters married Catholic men in a Catholic Church and they ADORE gay men and have no problem with sham marriages! The 33-year-old is ultra-religious, so her adoration is even more peculiar (she is a graduate of Columbia University and a child psychologist in Williamsburg, Bklyn) My 25-year-old brother is more concerned with finding a job, but he has no theological issue with homosexual marriage, despite graduating from Notre Dame a “Catholic” college.
Socially, I am very conservative about abortion & the homosexual agenda—and yes, Virginia, there is an agenda, but it’s goes further than just homosexuality: it’s about guiltless, barren, pansexuality with no limits. (I’m no prude, BTW, but believe in 1 man & 1 woman marriage). I am more “libertarian” about drugs, gambling & prostitution (it is wrong, but shouldn’t be a crime; pimping/being a “madame”, on the other hand, should be a Class I felony).
Ironic that it’s only I, the “lapsed” Catholic (who married a pagan in a civil ceremony) who is against homosexual marriage. It’s wrong theologically, ethically, biologically and socially. I won’t argue that fact anymore than I’d argue that gravity doesn’t exist.
But for the most of the younger generation:
1)Everyone knows a “nice” gay person/couple/crowd.
2)Queers on tv are so great at giving fashion/designer advice.
3)That hairstylist Marc is such a sweetie-pie.
4)Not liking gays means you’re a BULLY.
5)Hatred is evil and should be illegal.
6)The Bible says something about not judging, but it also says you can’t eat crabs so who believes that 2,000 year-old Spaghetti Monster crap anyway
7)Marriage isn’t sacred or about family, not when you can have drive-through marriages, and quickie divorces and split up kids from their parents so that parents can “be happy.”
8)Guys think hot lezzies are sexy.
9)EVERYBODY has kinky sex [you know what I mean], so who is any person to judge what goes on in the bedroom or outside of it.
10)TV, movies, comic-books, commercials, websites, romance novels, billboards, bumper stickers, politicians, schools, corporations, human resource departments, etc., are all dedicated to promote “Gay is ok.”
Even my 71-year-old F-I-L says, “You gotta go withthe times.”
It’s all about peace and harmony and “tolerance” and love. Love is love is love. (No apologies to Dorothy Parker).
You’re right, the younger generations (and a lot of the older ones) are mostly all for it. So is there a “solution” for tradionalists? Yes. Be pro-matrimony and pro-healthy environment. Get married; be spiritually faithful & physically monogomous to your spouse; be loving and show it; do not use hormonal birth control; try to have stress-free pregnancy; marriage is not about two people’s happiness, it’s about man, woman & child & their purpose in this world; while pregnant, don’t be a vegan or eat unfermented soy; get rid of phytoestrogen-inducing plastics, insecticides and foods when pregnant; support your children when they do well, love them when they do wrong, but do not support their errors; and above all: believe that we humans were made male and female in the image of God, and it is only through holy matrimony that the male and female unite as one and become closer to God.
If that’s not for you, then don’t get married.

I know, and yet our resident homeless poster said he was going to support Chick-Fil-A by going there Wednesday, buying a sandwich, then throwing all his food in the trash.
He thought that CFA has been infiltrated by employees who would sabotage the food, especially Wednesday.
We all know the fascists own the hearts, minds and souls of all the young people in America, don’t we? Maybe not so much?
There will never be a shortage of employees for that or any other FF franchise. There is a HUGE pool of retired folks who would jump at a chance to work part time (or full time) if given the opportunity.
There are tremendous benefits to hiring older people among them the strong sense of responsibility the majority have towards the job as far as showing up on time and working hard.
I had a small retail business years ago and my older help (50+) outworked any of my kids and did so with a good attitude.

Adam Smith is the typical liberal: Angry, violent, crazy, stupid, mean-spirited, hate-filled, did I mention agnry?
CFA no doubt doesn’t want such liberals as employees nor as cuystomers. People, not even liberals, want to go to a liberal slop house full of such people as Adam Smith. Even liberals want good food, good service, and fair prices.
