Those outside of Wisconsin don’t know him like we know him. A lot of us who supported Governor Walker in 2010 - after he left the race in 2006 “for the good of the party” did not appreciate Neumann’s backstabbing campaign against Scott, in particular some of the shenanigans he pulled at state convention. Neumann has not run this campaign any differently - he paid for people to attend state convention, including buses and hotel rooms, in exchange for their endorsement at convention - no candidate got enough votes, so there ended up being no endorsement.

Neumann, by the way, could have waltzed into the senate in 2010, as all of us who were critical of him running against Scott Walker for governor were begging him to run. Thankfully, Ron Johnson stepped up when Neumann was busy taking potshots at Walker.

There are three solidly conservative candidates running: Hovde, Fitzgerald, and yes even Neumann. Any one would be a no brainer choice for senate over Tammy Baldwin, and I believe any of them can win. Of the three, Fitzgerald has proven himself by supporting Walker in the assembly. I have talked pretty extensively with Hovde and believe he could well be the next Ron Johnson. I would vote for Neumann if I had to, but I wouldn’t be particularly excite about it, after seeing his true character over the last couple of years.

Amen, Lou. The saddest thing about this whole exercise is Fitzgerald. I hope he runs against Tom Petri next cycle.

"Those outside of Wisconsin don’t know him like we know him."

Count me in that group!

"There are three solidly conservative candidates running: Hovde, Fitzgerald, and yes even Neumann."

It was I who caused the "ruckus". Your last quote is what we were talking about and why I was so happy. It seems to be catching on across the country, which is even more exciting.

I LOVE Walker. Donated and even did the "recall sig verification" online, in which they dismissed. Very happy to see him win AGAIN, with an even bigger margin that his "official" run!

The only thing I know about WI (I'm in stinky NY) is that Walker did exactly what he promised to do and did it w/ in 1 year. God Bless that man!
