My first storm was Andrew in ‘92, then Erin in ‘95, Bertha after that. Since I moved back here, Debby’s been my next one.
We’re high and dry, outside the mandatory evac zone. I’d have to leave my own house at the first sign of trouble, but The Bride’s place is nice and solid; makes a great bugout location.
The only problem I get, is keeping two ravenous stepdaughters fed for the duration of the weather.
Generator? Camp stove? Bottled water? Lots of can goods?
