Scandal: The sunlight continues to expose the machinations behind the White House's support of failed solar panel manufacturer Solyndra with our tax dollars, including the false claim by former White House chief of staff.
In a batch of White House emails released in a report on Solyndra by the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Thursday, there's this gem: White House aide Aditya Kumar wrote to Jacob Levine of the Office of Energy and Climate Change on Aug. 19, 2009: "Feels like Rahm wants this too (barring any concerns) POTUS (President Of The United States) Involvement (in pushing Solyndra) was Rahm's idea."
Of course, Emanuel, who helped bring the infamous "Chicago Way" of politics from the Windy City to the nation's capitol, has long denied being a mover and shaker in the Solyndra affair.
Despite being Obama's chief of staff during the administration's green energy initiative in 2009, when the Solyndra loan was finalized, Emanuel told Chicago radio station WLS 890AM at a news conference in September 2011 about a new wellness initiative that he didn't remember anything about the failed investment loan by the Department of Energy that in fact was being fast-tracked by the White House.

Chik-fila is not Chicago values...........
It is nice to be able to connect the dots, but WOW. How many dumb people do they have in this administration that write emails like this. Whenever I am going to give an opinion like this I think of the disastrous results of the “forward” button. Then I delete the email and make a phone call.
I wonder how much was kicked into Rahm’s kitty?
Top of the list of Chicago values -———> Corruption
Friday news dump.
Follow the money!
Is it me, or does Rahm look like he’s dying of cancer or aids? Or maybe Pyorrhea of the mouth?
Doh!
There are so many people lining their pockets in D.C. it’s sickening. And I wonder why the republicans don’t ever bring it up.
One has to suppose that in the Chicago way, Rahm wouldn’t have directly invested in Solyndra, but rather, there would have been (un)traceable kick-backs involved.
Could one think that when Obama/Holder are gone that the FBI might come forth with a file on Rahm?
Arrest him, yeah right! Would love to see an investigative committee conclude that criminal behavior in all these schemes were evident and prosecution is on the way. Yeah right! Criminality and corruption will be brushed aside because it may be found out that some of thier friends are dirty
