It is common practice for police to impound a gun involved in a shooting.

Since the press divulged the address of the establishment and the LEOs confiscated his weapon, I hope the owner has a back-up weapon to dissuade opportunistic jackals.

Police dogs often lose their canine teeth one way or another, so there is now some veterinary dentistry to replace those missing canines with titanium ones.

Really sharp titanium ones. You definitely do not want to be bitten with those.

I found out from my dentist that it is not a good idea for people to go for titanium implants, as people live so long that the hardness of the titanium will translate into a fractured jaw.

And a short time ago my dentist told me that there is now an ultra hard, pure ceramic cap that has to be machined to fit, that looks like normal teeth, so the days of titanium teeth may be drawing to a close.
