If the republicans really wanted to shoot across Obama’s bow, they would get a black pastor to come speak at their convention.

Vince, that is a fantastic idea. I will go to our local GOP branch and suggest that very same thing.

From what I have seen of the Republican Party Elites, they do not want to shoot across obama’s bow. They are more that happy to remain where they are: A whipping boy for the Democrats and an “alternative” to the Democrat Party.

Great idea - and I've got the man for the job - Bishop E. W. Jackson (see http://www.bishopjacksonministries.org/ and http://jacksonforvirginia.org/ for references). I have heard him speak at several Republican events in the Commonwealth of Virginia and he is truly remarkable. Former Marine, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Phi Beta Kappa Key for the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Harvard Law School graduate and was accepted into the Baptist ministry and studies at Harvard Divinity School. He's been recognized by many including the Republican Party of Virginia as a solid, principled, constitutional conservative. But don't believe me, do your own diligence...
