We don’t need the leader of the free world; the one who will meet face to face with Putin; getting involved.
___________________________________________

If Willard had stood up for traditional marriage and had his staff here in the US send out for CFA last Wednesday “the leader of the free world” would not be invloved...

Willard is not the GOP nominee yet let alone elected as POTUS...

I think youre getting a wee bit aead of yourself there...

Plus Willatd kissed up and boasted to Mr Cathy at Liberty University that they come to a screeching halt whenever the campaign sees a CFA...

Wheres the screeching halt at CFA last Wednesday...

Eh ???

Once again, Mitt avoids the values issues.

You’ve got DemoRAT mayors across the country threatening to “Ban” Chick-fil-A because of their religious beliefs, and Romney is STILL afraid to say something as simple as “I believe in the 1st amendment.”

Never wants to get involved in any “distractions” — distractions from what? Him calling Obama a nice guy and running a lowball passive campaign?

I have zero confidence for November. None.

Good - it shouldn’t be something that was “part of a presidential campaign” - it is something much bigger and no opportunity should be afforded for the left to try to spin it - and trivialize it - as being a campaign gimmick.

Why does Romney REFUSE to address the issue - this is NOT about Chick-fil-a but about same sex marriage. There is NOTHING truthful about him. Romney - the INITIATOR of SAME SEX marriage in MA - all his ‘accomplishments’ are ANTI-AMERICAN.

Let’s see if there is ONE person who will push the maggot on this one. Where is Santorum and Bachmann - closed mouth for their favorite politician who bought them - they are as phoney as he is while prancing around ‘trying’ to appear conservative.

You really don’t get the point he was making? He even put quote marks around it to make it even more plain.

“Wheres the screeching halt at CFA last Wednesday...

Again do we want an adult to run for President; someone that has some seriousness?
Or do we want someone who is out being jerked around by every controversy? And is made small by doing so?

It's our job to handle these issues.

I agree . Protecting free speech is a trap.
Honestly I don't care who wins now. Romney just showed me and millions like me his true colors. This hurts

The GOP sent me their “2012 Presidential Platform Survey”

It doesnt mention same sex marriage or gay rights or anything close to it...

Under Values Issues there are 3 questions on abortion and one on school vouchers...

The abortion ones are Repeal and Replace...give states the right to decide on abortion ?

Should they even keep a strong pro-life plank on the platform ?

Should federal funds go to private non-profit group that provide abortions ?

Hello ? wheres the Q on same sex marriage ???

There is none ...

and so Willard was just going along with his political platform by ignoring the fight againt the homosexuals...

HIS platform he helps write it...

I intend to write across it in black marker in big letters and send it back since theyve already paid for the postage and they are anxious for my input

“What issues do you want our Republican presidential campaign to focus on in 2012 ?”

REPEAL AND REPLACE WILLARD

"Romney needs to focus on economic issues and keep the economy the centerpiece of his campaign. Getting caught up in this distraction will hurt Romney and can only help Obama, if only that it gets the bad economic news off the front pages."

Economic issues are crucial... but they are not the only important thing in this campaign. Why would it be so wrong for him to simply say he supports freedom of religion and freedom of speech?

There is a coordinated assault on religion going on these days- from compelling Catholic Churches to provide abortifcacients through Obamacare to Rahm Emanuel's disgusting behavior a week ago on the permit issue. It is completely alien to our culture and history, and people are irate. Believe me, there are more people on our side of this issue than on the other...

On a positive note, I am glad to see the victory of Ted Cruz in Texas last week.

I am glad as well to see that. However, unless we get a conservative in the Presidency we will never fix our problems. I knew you were talking as a collective....I just wanted to ensure you knew I did not vote for him in the primary. The General is tough. I sorta promised some FREEPERS that I was going to vote for Romney just to get rid of Obama. But I have a serious problem with rewarding someone the Presidency that does not deserve it. It is only August and I am sure that when I walk in the voting booth, I will pull it for Romney but it is the worst feeling ever and I did not even have this feeling last round with McCain....Even if Palin was not the VP nom, I did not have this revolting feeling about McCain. Romney is just plain scum. He is clearly a hard left socialist at best and we have to vote for him.....SICK!!!!!

Utah Right to Life refused to give him an endorsement...

Thats why he went with MASS...

MASS was a much better fit for progressive liberal Willards slant on social issues etc...

This is all part of an obvious larger effort to avoid moral matters, in other words, the actual disease.

God only knows how long we can get away with that sort of “doctoring.”

When this thing metastasizes, there will no turning back.

StAnDeliver: "You and the Freetards appear to be having a bad week..."

Not sure what you mean, RomneyBOT.

YOU and Mr. RomneyCARE, author of DEATH PANELS
watched America go for FREEDOM as he crept overseas to see his horses
and the EU and UN marry his RomneyCARE.

Too bad Romney and his Team only
support lying, cheating, INSTEAD OF freedom
and the US Constitution.

And yes, that makes it a good week for us.

The GOP are as deceitful as the maggot mitt is. They already changed their platform once they made the same sex marriage INITIATOR and pro baby killing their ‘favorite’ candidate while IGNORING NEWT.

They are ‘in your face’ deliberately deceitful and are frauds and guilty of false advertising. Rove, et al, are all a bunch of ‘anti - Americans’. We already know the maggot mitt has been all along!

Chick Fil A and Bachmann are valid stories but what we need is for the economy to continue to be hammered to keep indies on board and maybe get a landslide.

If Romney waded into Chick Fil A or Bachmann there's too much of a risk that the media would try to make these stores the main issue all the way up to Nov. 4 and we would lose independents.

[...] and we would lose independents.

Well, since the biggest voting block is Conservatives, and fully 60% of Conservatives now stand outside of the Republican party... Where do you suppose those Conservatives are, and how do you appeal to them? I think worrying about 'upsetting the independents' is ill-informed and a misdirection.... We ARE the independents.

I agree. The economy is what will do in Obama and Romney needs to stay focused on that issue. No matter what Romney does or doesn’t do some here will never agree with him.
