Your problem is that you think you’re hard core when you’re not. The hard truth is that a Reagan only comes along every century or so, and in the meantime you slog through with the imperfect hands you’re dealt. Falling short of the ideal is the norm for life on planet Earth. The only reason you even get to an exceptional Reagan type is because you’ve slogged through in between. Slogging through is how you create the conditions for a Reagan. If you think you get a Reagan every time then you’re not living on planet Earth.
You seem to think you’re acting on some higher principle by sitting around demeaning and demoralizing those of us who are getting ready to grit our teeth and slog through again.
