They're throwing info at the wall to see what sticks. ABC desperately wants to get one right after Brian Ross was shown wrong with his incorrect Holmes-Tea Party connection after Aurora. Unfortunately, it may be that this story will stick. There always have been ex-military nutcases who have weapons training and go berserk. But as has been pointed out, you have as many or more violent deaths in Chicago every weekend. But these nuts are mostly solitary and would shun non-violent political action where the only violence comes from counter-protesters.
