I don’t know all the nuances, but I am well aware there are “Sikhs” based in Indian culture as opposed to Moslems. I had an excellent Sikh friend in college (who once - shockingly - came late to class with no turban - tons of “Jesus” hair LOL). But I still don’t know the details at a glance. I just know not to assume.
Right now, my best guess is (if I can’t tell the ethnicity) the look on the face. Angry, unhappy and evil eyes - Moslem.
The Sikh temple had a huge sign that said “Sikh Temple”. Anyone who hates Mozlems knows that Mozlems have mosques, not temples.
