GOP to Reid: You're next
politico.com ^ | 5 Aug 12 | By CHARLES MAHTESIAN

The Sunday news shows featured a rare spectacle that at once revealed the decline of civility in Washington and the depth of GOP outrage over Harry Reid’s unproven claim that Mitt Romney didn’t pay income taxes for an entire decade: two of the nation’s top GOP officials flat out called the Senate majority leader a liar.

That’s no ordinary criticism in official Washington.

There are plenty of other ways that pols use to call out their partisan rivals on their statements. Reid’s GOP counterpart, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, for one, has already said Reid’s charge is “beneath the dignity” of his office.

"Not just a liar.... but a "Dirty Liar". That is a huge difference."

"Dirty" is synonymous with criminal activity. Do the brain dead voters in NV or the media know that? No. But, it would be nice to cause the Rat majority "leader" to step down, or better, resign. Maybe some hungry NV sheriff will do a little investigating...

Harry Reid is in real trouble. It seems that many sources are now reporting that he is indeed a pedophile.
This is a very serious charge. Harry Reid should step down immediately until he can prove his innocence.

Reid is a slimy, smarmy lying sack of doo-doo that isn't fit to oversee a sandbox.

Because Reid is so crooked he will have to be corkscrewed into his grave, and it started long before Obama got into the picture.
Reid is an evil little man.

Mormons are human, and as such, they make mistakes. Some deliberate, some innocent, but judging one Mormon by another’s behavior is like casting aspersions on all the Catholics because a priest is a pedophile.

Judge them on their own merits, and don’t allow yourself to be taken in by opinions of people who understand less than you do.

Of course, everyone is and ultimately will be judged by their own merits - not their parents, grandparents, religious preference, their OWN actions.

My question here is: does the LDS Church have anything to say, in the Ensign or other, about claims of one member against another of perhaps a criminal action, especially when that member isn't merely some Sister or Brother sitting besides you on Sunday or even serving alongside you, but is very high profile member of national recognition.

I know that politics being what it is, claims are tossed about during campaigns even between "friends" in elected positions. These men and women seem to be able to say or claim all sorts of things in a public venue.

However, for the highest ranking U.S. Senator (who also happens to be LDS) stands before the Senate and makes a very damning claim against another, especially another LDS brethern of high regard, does the LDS church take issue with this or even members of the Presidency, Council of 12, etc?

I would hope that some with a higher position in the LDS church than Harry Reid, would take him aside and ask that he kindly "tone it down," for it does raise the issue, especially those of the LDS faith, is this the public message that you want to present to non-LDS?

The Catholic church has taken lots of lumps for presenting one image, pro-life, pro-biblical marriage, pro-morality, only to invite elected officials to be keynote speakers at Catholic institutions, when those same Catholic elected officials stand firmly against Catholic teachings, or worse yet, when high ranking Catholic Bishops and Cardinals turn their eyes or in other instances actually cover up for those few pedophile priests. Bad as that is, I think that when Catholic institutions present as a public face, people like Nancy Pelosi/Teddy Kennedy/Claire McCaskill and Kathleen Sebelius with the clear intent that those Catholic institutions are standing up for what those politicians stand against every moral teaching of the church or in the Bible especially!

Reid is the classic case of a man throwing stones in a glass house. I wrote his only biography.

And Priebus’s response when asked if he really meant to call Filthy Harry a dirty liar, was ‘I said it, didn’t I?’

I’m beginning to really like this guy.

He won at the polls and he must be defeated at the polls. The DNC didn’t have the balls to call a liar a liar. They knew they’d lose maybe just enough of the black vote to lose in 2008 even with Hillary who was all but anointed. The Clintons were the 1st to find out he’s a fraud.

Now that he won if all these white boys and a few black traitors (to them) in the Republican party go after him no matter how true and provable his crimes? This countries large cities filled with brainwashed impoverished blacks will burn and he and the msm will incite them. It will be the L.A riots times 1000.

Now all we need is someone with enough balls to do it.

Based on that criteria, the only Republican that matches that description is...

I will never understand why it takes “balls” to stomp on a sniveling little weasel like Reid. I mean the guy is one notch above the lowest form of scum on earth (Pelosi).
