Cruz: Tea party ‘overwhelmingly’ behind Romney
The Washington Times ^ | August 5, 2012 | Sean Lengell

Ted Cruz, who rode a tea party wave to win the Texas Republican Senate nomination last week, said Sunday the movement will “overwhelmingly” support Mitt Romney in the November presidential election.

Mr. Cruz said tea party activists will rally in defense of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee because they’re “energized” to defeat President Obama.

“I have spoken with literally thousands and thousands of tea party activists, and I have yet to met a single tea party leader that is not going to vote for Mitt Romney and work hard for him,” Mr. Cruz said on Fox News Sunday.

“Our country is in crisis, and we’ve got to stop this Obama agenda if we’re going to preserve opportunity for our kids and grandkids.”(continued)

“The radicals here on FR won’t.” I am convinced the great majority of those who post anti-Mitt will in the end recognize the gravity of our situation and will vote Mitt in November. Its too easy to make outlandish remarks anonymously and to vote right when no one will know.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Freepers are .025% of web traffic. Obama won by 6% in 2008. Pro or con, freepers won't decide the outcome of 2012. This is a pretty good forum for airing and batting around conservative arguments that the mainstream conservative magazines won't touch with a barge pole. However, I wouldn't get too het up about it one way or the other. We don't decide elections, except in coalition with the vast majority of people who don't follow politics at all.

Well if we are liberal supporters than you are a Marxist supporter using your logic.

'You radicals that hate Romney are irrational, but that's your belief and you have every right to be wrong.'

Radical and Wacko to man, Alaska....Annie Coulter the best brain around gave the best reasons to back MITT a long time ago....repeating them to these dingys is like talkin' to the dry wall. I've got a sack of door knobs in my shed smarter than these doofusus...bwhahaahah ....

They can't seem grasp Ann's genius and practicality...or what really amounts to her Stone Common Sense....sooooo listen up small grasshoppers....as once again we take you by your handsies and 'splain to you what's goin on... ...it's called 'Gull the Indies 101'...follow along it's easy if you try..... Clearly Ann is right on target when she rightly points out……to win in November we must win over a number of Independents and Mitt scares them less than either Newt or Santorum …she intelligently makes 2 other prescient arguements… There are 2 crucial issues in this election and they are crucial because if we lose on them... the damage done to America CANNOT be undone….. this nation will be changed forever. The question IS as ANN clearly points out.... which candidate has the best stance on both of these 2 issues. And the question also is which candidate scares indepenents less making it possible to get their votes and thus to get a conservative into office in the first place. ON each of the 2 critical issues Mitt clearly has the best stances he also has the best chance of culling indepedents in numbers large enough get him elected..... The 2 issues are: 1. OBAMACARE…if OBAMACARE is allowed to continue forth people will get more and more used to some of the ‘treats’ it contains…...as that happens Obamacare will not be able to be overturned and AMERICA WILL FOREVER BE CONDEMNED TO FOLLOW A SOCIALIST PATH……therefore it is crucial that we elect the man most likely to deep six obamacare….CLEARLY THAT MAN IS MITT ROMNEY.. On Mitt’s website he pledges, on his first day in office to write immediate Obamacare waivers. They will be extended to each of the 50 states thereby rendering it inert. Then he pledges to work for Obamacare's complete repeal. 2nd CRUCIAL ISSUE 2. Immigration ….if amnesty in any form goes forth its just a matter of time before America becomes CALIFORNIA. Amnesty is SOMETHING THAT CANNOT BE UNDONE AND WILL FOREVER CHANGE AMERICA… if it is adopted…. HERE MITT'S STANCE is AGAIN CLEARLY THE BEST ONE... MITT'S stance?.....NO AMNESTY...... illegals here are ousted and must apply for citizenship according to extant immigration laws....psssst thats not rocket science folks... (Newt has some mixed up red card guest worker scheme that will fade into general amnesty soon after it’s clumsyness is initiated) Finally, many fear that Mitt waivers on some things and that he is not as conservative as they would like.....but Ann points out that Mitt listens and shows willingness to be influenced and after November, when we have captured both houses of congress...it will be not a difficult thing to bring him around to conplete conservative compliance.

You radicals that hate Romney are irrational

It's hard to find a Romney supporter who doesn't hate Romney, or one who agrees with much of any part of his public record.

And you call us "irrational"?

LOL...that's an eleven on an irony scale of ten.

I’m voting for a conservative. You are voting for a liberal. Which of the two are ‘closer to marxism and which voter is closer to supporting it?

Try to use basic reasoning. You really look stupid with that statement.

Oh I don’t know. Looks to me like part of Romney plan is to create jobs starting with energy and the Keystone Pipeline.

So basically you are saying there is no difference between Mitt and Obama as they are both liberals. I can’t believe you really believe that. You are being intellectually dishonest.

Ronald Reagan wasn’t conservative enough either at the time.

How’d that work for us?

Since your path is the only true way to be a conservative - at least in your mind - who are you going to vote for on the presidential ticket?

Let’s hear it.

And you are a BIG LIAR. His personal donations to Planned Barrenhood and his laws signed show he is in support. What he says now matters not a whit.

As Rush says: Those of us who've decided to vote for the GOP Primary Winner are living in “Realville.” For most of us, Romney was not our first choice. For me, he was my last choice, but he is indeed the GOP Primary winner. And whatever he is, he isn't a Marxist who has as his mission the desire to destroy our nation as founded. Are you going to seriously sit here and tell us Romney would dis all of our historic allies like Israel and Great Britain, while embracing our sworn enemies like Obama has? Trying to equate Romney and Obama just makes you guys look unhinged and kooky.

Oh, and you anti-Romney types “are what you are”: Obama supporters. If you can label us, we can label you. Obama thanks you for your support.

Yep.

Mitt Romney’s default position on abortion is a judicial supremacist one. In other words, abortion on demand. He thinks courts make our laws, and that everyone must bow to them, even when they violate the Constitution and the people’s rights in the worst possible ways.

He compounds his gross error by denying the first principle of the republic, that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with the unalienable right to life. He says the right to life should be left to a vote. In other words, he is, by definition, a pro-choice democrat.

And last but not least, he thinks states should be able to decide to alienate the supreme right if they want to.

I repeat: He always has been, and remains, a pro-choice democrat.

No one depicts Romney as Savior—
_______________________________________

Oh gollies...

Willard does...

Hes told us many times that he “saved” the Olympics and to please let him “save” the United States...

But theres at least one big catch...

The way Willard was the “savior” of the 2002 Winter Olympics was to spend 50% again of our tax money as much as the guys originally running the show were spending...

When Willard was through he had spent 1.5 BILLION in 3 years..

Much of it on “stimulus” type frills for his cronies and not on the Olympics...

To “save” the US the same way Willard would have to increase our national debt by TRILLIONS more than Obama has it now...

Right now the national debt is $16 TRILLION..

If its the same in January and IF Willard was to win the White house by the time he left in 2017 he will have added another $8 TRILLION to our debt...at the least..

I owe the government $140,000 right now for my share..

Willard would make it $220,000 or more...

My “savior” he isnt...

Nor is he the3 “savior” of my country...

Though he likes to think he is...
