I bet the reporter has never seen a real swarm. Having one show up and cover half a wall on the back of your house will scare the crap out of a non-beekeeper person like me. The beekeeper fellow estimated I had about 10,000 bees.
A hive with 10,000 bees and a queen is worth some money!
