I think you’re right - anything to tug at that “cool” curtain that 0bama won with in 2008.
I personally think 0bama’s disdain comes from the attitude of “how dare anyone challenge me”.

I think so, too. I believe he's had a lifetime of hearing how 'intellectual' and 'special' he is. He doesn't know how to react to anyone who disagrees with him or doesn't recognize his greatness. Couple that with Romney's success and his 'whiteness' and Obama becomes a powder keg.
