Great...we just hit $4 gas in Wisconsin from the last fiasco.
More than likely it will only affect petroleum products like Delo oil and greases. I have been there with my dad when he used to haul cases of motor oil out.
Granted its just speculation, but then again the price of gas would go up on almost any provocation.
Is this not the 3rd refinery fire in the last week??? Sounds suspicious to me.
My sister and brother-in-law live in a boat in a marina about a mile from the refinery. She posted some pictures of it burning. They got evacuated to a local bar that allowed their dog to come in, too.
Late last night, they were allowed back in. She said the alarms kept going off and there was soot every where, but the winds had shifted, so other folks could experience the joys of evacuation.
