Does anyone know how to send a story to Cam and Company for their hero of the day? I have checked into it but had no luck in finding where to send it.

My dad works midnights and lives out in the sticks. He was sleeping one day around 10 or so and heard a knock at the door. It was the door that only the UPS guy knocks on so he figured they were delivering a package so he ignored it. A couple minutes later he heard a knock at the other door and figured he would answer thinking somebody needed help.

As he was walking to the door (walk in garage door) he heard it get kicked in. He went back to the bedroom and grabbed his gun. He walked out into the garage and saw some high school kids armed with a bat and one with a crowbar breaking into the freezer.

He drew down on them and told them to drop the bat and bar but then realized he had no phone to call 911. He walked them outside in the cold and rainy fall weather and knew that if he went back inside to get the phone they would jump in their car and take off.

He ordered the driver to get out of the car, took the keys and told all three of them to strip naked. He told them that if they wanted to walk or run away they could try, but said they would not get far since they were naked and had no shoes. He said he would be right back but was going in to get the phone and call the Sheriff. He called 911 and came back outside to find all three still nude in the front yard shivering. Sheriff Deputies came and took care of the rest.
